How Tractor Helped Root Camp OUTSIDERS in Something Bigger

This year at Camp OUTSIDERS, Tractor was our official beverage partner, and it quickly became clear that this was much more than just a delicious refreshment. Their philosophy fit naturally into the rhythm of the weekend. From the moment campers arrived, Haymaker became the drink people reached for after a hike, between conversations on the dock, during meals, and while gathering around the campfire. But what made Tractor's presence memorable wasn't just what was in the can. It was the perspective they brought with them.

Muddy Knees & Epiphanies

One of the highlights of the weekend was Muddy Knees & Epiphanies, an experience built around slowing down, getting curious, and reconnecting with the land beneath our feet. Together, alongside Tractor and Vulpes Wild Arts, we wandered through the landscape learning about the plants growing all around us. What many of us had walked past without noticing suddenly were identified as sources of food and natural medicine. The experience invited us to see nature beyond scenery; as something we have a relationship with.

That curiosity carried into a more reflective session where everyone was invited to set intentions and plant seeds. It was a simple act with lasting meaning. As those seeds take root in the months ahead, they'll serve as a reminder that growth rarely happens overnight. The same is true for the conversations, friendships, and ideas that began over the course of the weekend.

For us at OUTSIDERS, nature has always been about more than getting outside. It's about creating space for people to reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the world around them. Tractor helped deepen that experience by reminding us that the ground beneath us has something to teach if we're willing to pay attention.

The weekend was filled with hikes, lake swims, shared meals, dancing under the stars, and countless unforgettable moments. Through it all, Tractor's commitment to healthy soil, regenerative agriculture, and thoughtful stewardship felt like a natural extension of everything Camp OUTSIDERS stands for. As everyone packed up and headed home, they left with more than muddy shoes and great memories. They carried fresh perspectives, new friendships, and a small planted seed representing the ideas they hope will continue to grow long after the weekend ended.
